Web Changes

This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

News Flash!! coming sometime between  Fall 2008 or Early 2009

Fuel Data Systems, Inc. will be concentrating all of our resources on our new product.  FDSI is hiring programmers and more tech support per this year to assist us in our efforts.  New documentation and training videos will be available and released prior to our move to the new Web based FDS.

We are currently re-engineering our database as we leave the Microsoft Access product and move to Microsoft SQL and its smaller sibling, SQL Express.  You “Our Customers” will still be able to write your own queries and reports using Microsoft Access via “Linked” tables.

FDSI will provide the path and conversion programs necessary to transition from our existing Windows based application to our new Web based application.  Our new product will retain all of the existing FDS functionality and ease of use and combine it with the latest technology to offer you our “New Suite” of software programs that will be second to none!

We will be releasing periodic updates on our progress to the next generation of FDS.  If you would like to be one of the first companies on our new product, please ask to be one of our “Beta” sites.

We are very excited about our new product and are totally committed to this change!

Fuel Data Systems, Inc. “Focused” on you!  Another example of your support dollars at work!

Fuel Data Systems reminds all customers that Microsoft Service Packs and Critical Updates should be applied to all computers on regular basis.  Applying Service Packs and Critical Updates is just one of the steps all customers should take to protect their systems.  This is not something that Fuel Data Systems covers as part of Software Support.  Fuel Data Systems will check and apply Microsoft Updates at our standard hourly rate.

Spring is coming fast and some users may start looking at upgrades.  Fuel Data Systems would like to remind all our customers to contact us before purchasing any hardware or software.  By involving us before you purchase we can insure that you are purchasing the correct hardware and software and maximize the value of your dollar.  We have a standard server requirements worksheet that we can email upon request to assist your hardware vendor to configure a new or replacement server.

Fuel Data Systems has moved the fueldatasystems.com web site to a new hosting service.  The move to the new service brings a new look to the web site as well as new features.  Be sure to register and check out our new online forum.  The forum contains information on updates, Frequently Asked Questions and an open discussion where users can ask questions or suggest features.

We have also begun using a "list manager" to maintain the Fuel Data Systems mailing list.  All users receiving email from Fuel Data Systems have been automatically enrolled on the mailing list.
